ReplyDeleteBruce, I just wanted to tell you how much I love the book. The hell with my boyfriend... these are knits that this girl wants! I am a larger woman and appreciate the classic shapes that I know I can make work for my extra curviness. I especially love the hoodie and the henley - and really dig the simple socks, too. I'm finishing up a sweater now and then those socks are mine! And yes, if he's good, the bf might just get something out of the book, too. He regularly despises every sweater pattern I show him, but he thought your patterns were spot on. So congrats on the book, and thanks for your hard work, and I look forward to seeing more designs from you in the future.

ReplyDeleteI am writing this just because I felt I had to thank you for this incredibly good book. It has just arrived to my home and is already one of my favourites (and I have more than 200 knitting books).

The multiple gauge system is invaluable.
The text is interesting: I'm going to read it like a novel.
I have all I need to knit my son clothes for years and years.
